TREAT THE SOURCE, NOT THE SYMPTOM WITH MATRIX REPATTERNING THERAPY
WHAT IS MATRIX REPATTERNING
Matrix Repatterning is a revolutionary manual therapy that is changing people’s lives. Utilizing a specialized assessment and treatment process, the therapy can locate and treat hidden tension patterns that are often the underlying cause for painful and limiting conditions
DEMYSTIFY YOUR MATRIX
Through recent scientific discoveries, we now know that every part of the body, from the surface of the skin, to the center of each cell is connected by a continuous network of fibrous tissue. This interconnected network forms our body matrix. We are connected from head to toe, bone to muscle to organs etc. Injuries to this matrix deform its framework, leading to restriction, pain, and a host of other conditions. By demystifying the body matrix and identifying where these hidden tension patterns exist in the body, a Matrix Practitioner can re-pattern deformations in the body, resolving injury in a way where nothing else could.
SAY GOOD BYE TO REPETITIVE CARE
A lifetime of harsh collisions, bumps, bangs, & knocks to your body (falling on ice, down stairs, falls off bicycles or horses, car accidents, etc.…) creates a seemingly permanent tension pattern in many people, which leads to chronic pain and dysfunction that can require repetitive care, often for years.
Mostly, that care is directed toward the “soft and moving parts of the body,” the muscles, ligaments, tendons, joints and fascia. When that doesn’t seem to be doing the job anymore, you might want to consider Matrix Repatterning Therapy, as it could be the answer for you
Consider a guitar that is constantly going out of tune. The strings aren’t holding… Eventually, someone finally decides to evaluate the frame of the guitar. And when they do, they determine that the strings (the ‘soft and moving parts’ of the violin) are constantly going out of tune because there is tension in the dense, wooden frame.
Think of the strings as the soft and moving pasts of the body.
It would then make sense to relieve the frame of its’ tension, rather than continuing to retune strings. Would it not? Only after relieving the frame’s tension, would the strings be able to hold tune better and longer and the guitar will be able to function at a much higher level. This is what happens with Matrix Repatterning.
KEEPING THE SCIENCE SIMPLE
Science confirms that every cell of the body is connected to every other cell by a continuous material of molecular strands (extracellular matrix, cytoskeleton), referred to as the Tensegrity Matrix.
The matrix is a strong and flexible structure, which appears to function as an intercellular communication network, providing mechanical, chemical and electrical signals vital for ideal cellular health. Furthermore, interruption of this communication system appears to be a factor in many health conditions.
PRIMARY RESTRICTION PATTERN
The matrix interconnects all cells of the body. A primary restriction in one part of the body, can lead to strain and pain in many other areas. Furthermore, other forms of treatment focus on these symptomatic areas and are usually blamed for the condition. This may provide short-term relief, however, since the source of the injury within the core structures has not been identified or addressed, the condition tends to return or is more easily re-injured.
A Certified Matrix Repatterning Practitioner accurately locates the cause of the problem (primary restriction). There is an electronic change in the cell structure, which goes along with the injury. Once this is identified, therapy, using gentle manual pressure encourages the structures contributing to the condition, to return to their normal tone /shape.
The first thing we discuss is your health history, which is a detailed account of what your body has been through, and what you’ve done to help it.
From here we move into an in-depth assessment, which includes checking your posture, muscle strength, range of motion, nerve function, joint stability, bone size, and other special tests, which will give me a clear baseline reading of your physical health.
This is critical, because it’s this baseline that we’ll refer back to as we move through a treatment series, allowing us to gauge the degree of improvement.
The assessment also includes a specialized scanning technique which enables me to precisely locate hidden strain patterns in your body. Essentially, every significant injury that your body has sustained will leave an electro-magnetic imprint, which can easily be located by using this unique scanning method.
In Matrix we have a saying, “we don’t guess, we test”. Nothing is done arbitrarily with this approach, which leads to very focused and effective treatment.
This is created to the uniqueness of your body.
During a Matrix Repatterning treatment, gentle manual pressure is applied to the body at specific sites of injury (based on our findings during the assessment).
This gentle pressure is combined with a therapeutic magnetic technology called the MatrixMag™ Scanner to facilitate rapid healing of injured tissue.
Because Matrix Repatterning is so gentle and non-invasive, all age groups can benefit from the treatment. I have worked with children adults and the elderly. I’ve seen Matrix Repatterning enhance athlete’s performance, and significantly improve the quality of life for trades people, office workers and people who have sustained serious physical traumas throughout their lives.
The average number of treatments a patient will need is between 6 and 12. I usually reassess after four treatments and together we decide what steps to take next.
The good news is there’s an end in sight. Once a treatment series is completed, follow-up appointments are booked as the need arises. Most people experience lasting pain relief, and do not require ongoing maintenance treatments.
